SETH 5 Star Program

The South East Texas Housing Finance Corporation (SETH) provides eligible homebuyers several options for a loan program that meets their needs through the SETH 5 Star Program. The program provides down payment and closing cost assistance when purchasing a home. The maximum assistance is 5% and is based on the final loan amount. Program options provide assistance in the form of a 3 year Community Second Loan which is completely forgiven after 3 years. The program includes a 30 year fixed rate FHA, VA, USDA, or Conventional mortgage loan. Homeowners even have the option to refinance their current mortgage.

• Must meet program income limits
• Required to complete the SETH online Home Buyer Education Course

This program is available in Texas but outside of Travis County and the city limits of El Paso, McKinney and Grand Prairie.
